bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie
Let's just say that I have a lip gloss addiction! I have tried many different brands over the last couple of years and have finally narrowed it down to my favorite. Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss by bareMinerals is my go-to lip gloss for any occasion. Not only do I love how it looks on my lips, I absolutely love the feeling. Some lip gloss brands are sticky and make your lips feel dried out after an hour or so of wearing. Marvelous Moxie feels soft and smooth on my lips and all shades come with a great scent! My lips have not felt dry at all since I've started wearing Moxie regularly. In the pictures above, I am wearing the shade Rebel. It is my favorite shade since it is very neutral and not too pink. I also love Party Starter and Game Changer if I am wearing it out for an evening.
When it comes to cost, the price is definitely right! It is only $18.00 for a tube at both Ulta and Sephora. I recommend this product to every gal as addicted to lip gloss as I am. I have tried more expensive products and have been most pleased with Moxie!
Christmas Dresses
I am loving this year's holiday dress collections across all online stores. Metallics and sequins seem to be a big trend this year. I also love how holiday collections are expanding outside of your typical red or green color scheme. There are a lot of golds, magentas, and your standard little black dress. I am getting ready to purchase the Kate Spade dress and plan to wear it to The Swan Lake ballet at the Kennedy Center in late January. I think I am going to pair it with my Anthropologie Sequin Swirl Clutch and my Zara High Heel Leather Court Show stilettos. Stay tuned!

Holiday Glam
I had a little fun today with make-up and put together the perfect holiday glam look. I pulled my hair to one side and pinned it for a simple, classic look. I did a dark pink lip and dramatic eyes to bolden the look. A sequin top is perfect for any holiday party. This sweater is actually from Forever 21.

Hair Accessories
For me, my love of headband and hair accessories began when I started watching Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl. Headbands were here signature look and she was always one of my favorite fashion trendsetters. Headbands, trendy hairpins, clips, hats can really cap off (no pun intended) any look. I have purchased some great hair accessories over the last few months and wanted to share a couple of my favorites:

New Year, New Hair
Changed up my hair a little! I decided to add a couple long and short layers and more defined bang. My highlights are very similar to what I had before. I love the warm blonde and golden browns she uses. I am so pleased with how it turned out.

Accessorize Your Holiday!
I have been obsessing over all of the new holiday arrivals and thought I would share with you a couple of my favorites. Some have already made it into my closet and the rest are on my Christmas list:)
-J. Crew: I adore this Pagoda Blue Pear Necklace that is currently on the J. Crew site. The color is perfect for the holidays and is such a unique piece. The Etta Tweed and Glitter pumps would look so great paired with your favorite solid holiday dress. If you have a simple black dress, a red dress or even a deep green these shoes would really add something special! Lastly, this ZigZag Strip Scarf was JUST added and is a steal for only $68! If you're not a red kind of gal, it comes in three other color schemes.
-Anthropologie: I love all of these stores/sites but I have to say Anthropologie's holiday pieces I just MUST have. I just purchased this Bowfold Velvet Clutch and can't wait to use it. Even though it isn't your typical holiday color, it does remind me of a Christmas present with the bow and the goldish hue. The High Halls Pumps are perfect as well to be paired with a plain holiday dress or even black pants and a cream colored top. I love this Velvet Blossom Beret because I can just picture myself wearing it in DC when it's snowing. It looks so warm and cozy!
-Kate Spade has a lovely collection and she always features my two favorites: sparkle and bows! (Which is also perfect for Christmas) Not to mention all of her red accessories are to die for.
-Baublebar: What I love about Baublebar is that their collections are always based on current trends and are very seasonal! Right now, they have the perfect statement pieces for Christmas. My absolute favorite which I am getting ready to purchase is the Ice Aztec Drops-Clip On Earring. Can't you see them with a black turtleneck and a bright red lip?
-Sephora: Some great holiday specials are going on with Sephora right now! This is also the time when brands come out with their holiday collections. I love this Future Red Cinematic lipstick by Nars. It is part of their Guy Bourdin Holiday Collection. Also, if you're not a friend of Philosophy yet, you need to introduce yourself. I love their products especially as someone who has had her fair share of skin issues. The Gingerbread House Set is definitely on my list.
